WATERJET CUTTING
Benefits
An important benefit of the water jet is the ability to cut material without interfering with its inherent structure, as there is no heat-affected zone. Minimizing the effects of heat allows metals to be cut without warping, affecting tempers or changing intrinsic properties. Sharp corners, pierce holes and planar shapes with minimal inner radii are all possible.
Versatility
Because the nature of the cutting stream can be easily modified, it is possible to cut virtually any profile in any material with waterjet. Some of materials have unique characteristics that require special attention when cutting.
Materials commonly cut with a water jet include textiles, rubber, foam, plastics, leather, composites, stone, tile, glass, metals, food, paper and much more.
Most ceramics can also be cut on an abrasive water jet as long as the material is softer than the abrasive being used.
Services
We are able to make your plan real in practice from any starting point regardless of the presentation format; we accept all the CAD-formats in 2D or 3D as well as dimensioned hand drawn images.
We are happy to cut from the material supplied by the customer or we can offer a wide range of materials we keep in stock. We are also able to find and procure the desired material and if necessary, through our extensive sourcing network. It is also possible to add value to our customers by further processing cut blanks into finished products or just add processing value with extensive manufacturing techniques under the same roof.
